Mobile phone chargers can be broadly categorized into travel chargers, desktop chargers, USB chargers, and maintenance chargers. The latest trend is the phone case charger.

Phone Case Chargers: Phone case chargers generally look similar to regular phone cases, but are slightly thicker. They typically have a 2300mAh battery capacity, providing a full charge, and generally use lithium-ion cells or dry cell batteries as the energy storage unit.

Other Chargers: Most users are familiar with the first two types. Travel chargers are the most common type on the market. They come in various forms, including inexpensive egg-shaped mini travel chargers, standard desktop card-type chargers, and high-end desktop chargers with LCD displays. Since most mobile phone users are not professional users, most chargers have an automatic shut-off function when fully charged, and most travel chargers are fast chargers, with charging times ranging from 1 to 3 hours. Many chargers on the market claim to be microcomputer-controlled, including some very inexpensive egg-shaped mini travel chargers. However, strictly speaking, only a small percentage of chargers can truly be described as microcomputer-controlled (microcontroller-controlled) from a circuit perspective.
