A mobile phone charger, also known as a mobile phone adapter, is an accessory used to charge mobile phones and other portable electronic devices. Mobile phone chargers can be broadly categorized into travel chargers and desktop chargers. With technological advancements, products supporting multiple fast charging protocols and featuring multiple ports have emerged, with power ranging from 10W to nearly 100W. The EU mandates that from 2024 onwards, all devices sold in the EU must use a USB Type-C charging interface.

Proper use of mobile phone chargers requires attention to safety. A charger will continue to operate even when not connected to a phone while plugged in; leaving it plugged in for extended periods will shorten its lifespan and increase the risk of short circuits and fires. When charging, use original accessories, avoid mixing different chargers, do not charge in high-temperature environments or near pillows, and unplug the charger promptly after charging is complete.
